‘I believe that every poem contains, or implies, the proposal that another world is possible…..A world of dwelling’

John Burnside, A Poet’s Polemic, 2003

This project explores the hinterland of living sculpture between poetry, architecture and ecology in a collaboration between architect Tom Morton, visual artist Brigid Collins, poet Larry Butler and jeweller Teena Ramsay.

Currently the group are working on a phase of experimental research, experimenting with form, word, meaning and the potential of process in collaboration between artistic disciplines.

Among a variety of possible outcomes, the project aims to define an architect’s brief in the form of a poem, leading to the creation of a building.
